Blooms that Brighten is always interested in partnering with other non profits! Our volunteers have been collecting paper bags for Grove Christian Outreach for their bread day distribution and we have a Brighten Buddies project in the works with the Head Start program.

Let's have a drum roll please! Our volunteers this week completed 190 arrangements!  Yes, we said 190!!!! A new record!

Network after Hours Event

SFA will be hosting a Network After Hours Event with Network Williamsburg on February 2, 2010 from 5:30pm to 7pm. This event is a great chance for nonprofit leaders and business leaders to get together! Mark the date and join us.

Welcome 2010! 

Our volunteers are back and the energy is contagious! We had our first annual volunteer meeting this January and another success was registered! We reported on how far we had come in our first year of operation and published a wish list for year two. The group has already accomplished a few items on the wish list! Some more of our volunteers have stepped forward to assist with scheduling and administrative work. We have 4 fundraisers on the calendar, we are focusing on that "big idea " fund raiser, I know we will find it! I could not be more proud of the work that is being done!
